Airlines are also getting some help from lawmakers. The proposed deal will give airlines $15 billion in payroll assistance.
According to Reuters, that money will allow more than 32,000 furloughed workers to get paid through the end of March.
It's all part of the $45 billion put aside for transportation in the new COVID relief deal.
