Former President Barack Obama could be moving from politics to entertainment.

The New York Times reports Obama is in talks with Netflix to produce a series of shows exclusively for the platform. If a deal happens, both Barack and Michelle Obama would reportedly be involved in the shows.

It's not clear what role the former president would take or what the shows would be about. One idea reportedly was a show with Barack Obama moderating discussions on hot-button issues that defined his presidency.

The Times says another show could feature Michelle Obama and topics she promoted at the White House — like health and nutrition.

A senior adviser to Barack Obama didn't comment on the rumored Netlfix deal but said Thursday the Obamas "continue to explore new ways to help others tell and share their stories."
