The money was earmarked for programs that helped build relationships between Israelis and Palestinians.

The Trump administration is cutting millions in funding for peace-building programs between Israelis and Palestinians.

The projects largely affect children and include an interfaith program for kids, a program for children with disabilities and funding for youth soccer games.

That money was the last remaining U.S. aid for Palestinian civilians, according to The New York Times. The Trump administration has rolled back hundreds of millions in aid this year; most recently, it cut $25 million in aid meant to help cover medical costs for Palestinians.

President Trump is cutting Palestinian funding to pressure the Palestinian Authority into reaching a peace deal with Israel.
