The couple who scaled the Empire State Building for a viral proposal was back in court on Monday.
Ivan Kuznetsov and Angelina Nikolau are facing charges including reckless endangerment, burglary and criminal mischief.
The two were able to get to the top of the Empire State Building's antenna in early July, before unfurling a banner.
That antenna rises 1,454 feet (443 meters) above midtown Manhattan.
The banner read “when the power of love beats the love of power the world knows peace."

Just after noon on July 1, they began to climb down, one of them set up a piece of equipment and got down on one knee. They then proceeded to kiss again and hugged, the other person took selfies with an outstretched left hand, as if examining a ring.
They were taken into custody just after 1 p.m.
Prosecutors said they entered the building the night before and accessed restricted areas the night before. The defense argues this case includes overcharging.

The next court hearing is scheduled for September 29.
