On the “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” a new housewife was added to the bunch, and her name is Claudia Jordan.
"I want my bedroom to be really sexy, I do a morning show I have to get up really early, sleep is important, I need to be relaxing and sexy actually," Claudia Jordan said on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
"Okay wait, so if you’re trying to sleep why does it need to be sexy?" Kenya replied.
"Because I have the weekends off," Claudia said.
Claudia has several claims to fame. She started off in the pageant scene as the representative of Rhode Island in the 1997 Miss USA pageant but then moved on to TV.
"After auditioning some of the most beautiful women in Hollywood over a period of months, we have chosen as permanent Barker’s Beauties: Claudia Jordan!" Bob Barker said on "The Price Is Right."
And along with "The Price is Right," Claudia also appeared on "Deal or No Deal" and "Celebrity Apprentice."
A writer with Perez Hilton spoke with the executive producer of "RHOA," and he said that the addition of Claudia really changes the whole dynamic of the housewives.
"Finally Kenya has a friend on the show who actually likes her. LOL. Just kidding … She's beyond funny and has a great back-story being a biracial beauty so there's definitely layers to Claudia."
But as Us Weekly notes, Claudia didn’t move to Atlanta just to mingle with housewives. She says she’s looking for a true southern gentleman to call her own.
But despite all of the hype, it doesn’t seem like Claudia is getting too warm of a reception on Twitter. Many fans tweeted she shouldn’t be on the show, and one even called her "irrelevant."
