Struggling retail chain Sears is closing even more stores.
Sears Holdings Corp. identified 100 stores that weren't turning a profit and decided to close 72 of them in the near future. The company said it would post the list of stores Thursday.
Sears hasn't been profitable in almost a decade — it has reportedly lost billions of dollars since 2010. The retailer has closed hundreds of stores and cut costs in recent years in an effort to stay afloat.
The company is also trying to sell its Kenmore brand. It sold its Craftsman tool brand last year.
Sears Holdings said overall revenue dropped about 31 percent in 13 weeks ending May 5. Some of that's because the company closed stores.
