That’s what happened after parents of a Baltimore-area student found inappropriate text messages between their 15-year-old daughter and her 42-year-old teacher.
The parents of the Perry Hall High School student reportedly called the police after find text messages that revealed an "emotional relationship that seemed inappropriate for a teacher and student." Shortly after the discovery, the teacher showed up to the student's house. (Via The Baltimore Sun)
"The police say the father told him to leave, he refused and that's when things got physical." (Via WMAR)
Even though the father attacked the man with a bat, the police say no crime was committed and passed the report to Baltimore County Police Department's Safe Schools Facilitator and the Crimes Against Children Unit. (Via WBFF)
Other parents applauded the father's actions saying they would have done the same thing.
"If you have something to say to a child, you should say it in school." (Via KTNV)
Police are not releasing any names since the teacher is not pressing charges. The Crimes Against Children Unit will continue to investigate.
