Whether or not someone has died as a result of the crash is still unclear.

Fox News reports one person is dead but did not say whether or not that was a child or the one adult reportedly taken to the hospital.

However, WOFL reports Florida Highway Patrol announced the one dead, but later rescinded that and said no one has died.

Authorities say the silver car that fled likely has damage to its bumper. Stay with Newsy for more updates.
