Former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg faced a grand jury Friday morning, where he was expected to testify as part of special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation.
Nunberg didn't speak to the press on his way into federal court in Washington, D.C. His attorney was with him.
Earlier this week, Nunberg told media outlets he wouldn't comply with a federal subpoena, but he ended up backing down from that statement.
Nunberg worked for the Trump campaign from 2011 until 2015, when he was fired after racist Facebook posts surfaced.
