ABC is moving forward with a "Roseanne" spinoff — without the show's controversial star Roseanne Barr.

The network said in a press release Thursday the spinoff — called "The Conners" — has been greenlit straight to series with an order of 10 episodes.

ABC stressed in the announcement that Barr won't have "financial or creative involvement in the new series."

The news comes nearly a month after ABC canceled "Roseanne" when Barr made a racist comment on Twitter.

The spinoff will air this fall. An exact date for the premiere will be announced later.
