"Kim Possible" is once again taking calls.

Casting for a live-action movie based off the animated TV series is underway. The show — about a teenage girl who battles evil villains in her spare time — ran for four seasons on Disney Channel starting back in 2002. It even inspired two original animated movies for the network.

So here's the situation on the upcoming live-action version: The Hollywood Reporter says the TV show's original creators penned the script and that it's being executive produced by people behind films like "Easy A" and "I, Tonya."

There's no word yet on when the "Kim Possible" live-action movie will debut, but it does fall in line with several other Disney Channel reboots and spinoffs. Last year, Disney Channel debuted "Raven's Home" based off "That's So Raven," and the revival of "Bug Juice" was slated for early 2018.
