Why did Dippin' Dots write this letter to press secretary Sean Spicer?
To answer that question, you have to understand Spicer's long, complicated history with this ice cream company.
Or maybe you don't have to understand it. But you do have to see these tweets.
Dippin dots is NOT the ice cream of the future
— Sean Spicer (@seanspicer) April 8, 2010
He circled back around a year later for good measure.
I think I have said this before but Dippin Dots are notthe ice cream of the future

Did he sip tea with that tweet?
But while those dots may be tiny, they are mighty. Dippin' Dots survived the meltdown long enough for more Spicer shade.
If Dippin Dots was truly the ice cream of the future they would not have run out of vanilla cc @Nationals

Will Spicer accept Dippin' Dots' offer? Will they have enough vanilla for the ice cream social? Will we ever understand the oddity of Spicer hating on Dippin' Dots? We may never know.
