If you've ever wanted to go from 0 to 60 in under 3 seconds, Tesla is making your dreams come true. The company announced three big changes to its cars on Friday. The first was the brand new "Ludicrous Mode" for its most expensive model, the all-wheel drive Model S P85D. (Video via Tesla)
The upgrade will take you from 0 to 60 MPH in just 2.8 seconds. That's just a bit faster than Tesla's "Insane Mode" that terrified riders in a Drag Times test drive. (Video via Tesla)

But consumers might be most interested in the new battery pack upgrade for all versions of the Model S. Tesla says it will give you about 5 percent more driving time. It's a much-needed move for the company as it continues to combat energy consumer fears of range anxiety. (Video via Tesla)
The company also announced a price drop to $70,000 for its least-expensive model, the Model S 70. If you want that Ludicrous Mode, it only comes in the pricier P85D. And you have to pay an extra $10,000. But if you're not first, you're last, right? (Video via Tesla)
