It's unanimous. The Senate will allow babies under a year old on the Senate floor during votes.

Sen. Tammy Duckworth, who just gave birth this month, wrote a resolution to change an old rule banning children from the floor. She called the old rule "archaic" and thanked senators "for helping bring the Senate into the 21st Century by recognizing that sometimes new parents also have responsibilities at work."

This decision is especially notable because change tends to happen slowly in the Senate. But to be fair, until now, there hasn't been a pressing reason to bring up this issue.

Duckworth is the first U.S. senator to give birth in office.
