Air Traffic Controllers Are Working, But Other FAA Staff Are Not

While air traffic controllers are being forced to work without pay, other supporting staff is home during the government shutdown.

The National Air Traffic Controllers Association estimates 3,000 of their FAA employees are furloughed. Air traffic controllers will continue to work but support staff, maintenance staff and technicians have been sent home. Newsy spoke with Air Traffic Controller Eddie DeLisle about the safety of Americans during and after the shutdown.
