The FBI arrested a man who's suspected of sending suspicious packages to several military installations around the Washington, D.C., area.

The bureau says the suspect sent packages that had "potentially destructive devices." They were delivered to four military locations near D.C. Another was sent to CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.

The FBI says all the packages appear to be sent by 43-year-old Thanh Cong Phan, who lives in the Seattle area. Authorities warn more packages could've been mailed to processing facilities in the D.C. metro.

The FBI says it will analyze the packages it's collected at the bureau's laboratory.
