Lawyers for Christine Blasey Ford confronted the FBI in a letter Tuesday for not interviewing her as part of the reopened investigation into Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
Ford attorneys wrote: "It is inconceivable that the FBI could conduct a thorough investigation of Dr. Ford’s allegations without interviewing her, Judge Kavanaugh, or the witnesses we have identified in our letters to you."
The letter also says the attorneys received no response from the FBI after they reached out to the agency multiple times through letters and emails.
The FBI's investigation could be completed as soon as Wednesday. NBC News reportsthe FBI has no plans to interview Ford, who accused Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her while the two were in high school.
