Let's be honest, at this point President Barack Obama is a 'selfie' pro.
Joe Biden, Neil Degrasse Tyson ... and who could forget the infamous David Ortiz selfie?
Well, for one 13 year old girl President Obama couldn't oblige. According to ABC, Mika Taylor wrote in big letters, "Mr. President may I have a selfie with you?" but was denied when Obama passed by.
Reportedly, Obama acknowledged the young girl but told her, he couldn't take the selfie because if he did it for her he would have to do it for everyone.
Decent logic from the POTUS, but the selfie snub has some outlets wondering if the White House is being extra cautious after the David Ortiz ordeal.
Ortiz snapped a selfie with the president earlier this month and tweeted it out to his more than 650,000 followers — receiving thousands of retweets including one from tech giant Samsung, who had recently reached a multi-million dollar deal with Ortiz.
The idea that President's likeness was used to promote a Samsung product got White House senior advisor Dan Pfeiffer involved.
"Well, he obviously didn't know anything about Samsung's connection to this. And perhaps maybe this will be the end of all selfies." (Via CBS)
White House press Secretary Jay Carney later said Pfeiffer was just joking and there are no plans to ban selfies.
As proof, the President was back at it with Malaysia's Prime Minister who tweeted, "My selfie with President Obama!"
So it's tough to say what the rules are for Presidential selfies. Me next, Mr. President?
