Temperatures were just below freezing during the Winter Olympics opening ceremony in South Korea on Friday.

But that didn't stop Tonga's flag-bearer from ditching his shirt for the event once again.

Just like he did for the opening ceremony in Rio de Janeiro two years ago, Pita Taufatofua proudly carried his country's flag wearing nothing but a traditional Tongan mat.

But he wasn't the only athlete missing some warm clothing during this year's bitterly cold ceremony.

The delegation from Bermuda showed up to the parade wearing (what else?) Bermuda shorts.
