International lawmakers want to put Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg in the hot seat again.

Parliament committee chairs from the U.K. and Canada are requesting that Zuckerberg testify before their panels about the company's privacy practices and the spread of disinformation on the platform.

In a letter dated Wednesday, lawmakers asked Zuckerberg to appear at a first-of-its-kind joint hearing in London on Nov. 27. Officials from other countries may also be in attendance.

Zuckerberg's already testified before U.S. and European Parliament panels on the issues. But he sent Facebook representatives to answer questions for the U.K. and Canada panels, and they want to hear from him directly.

Facebook is still dealing with the aftermath of the Cambridge Analytica data scandal, where millions of users' personal information was shared without their consent. The company has also announced multiple takedowns of foreign disinformation campaigns targeting U.S. elections, most recently last week.

The lawmakers are giving Zuckerberg until Nov. 7 to respond to the invitation.
