On Friday, the Trump campaign said it raised over $1 million within a day of the Mueller report's public release.
The campaign's COO told The New York Post: “Relative to our recent daily average, the Mueller news drove a 250 percent increase in fundraising from grassroots donors.”
The president's re-election campaign raised $30 million in the first quarter of 2019. That's as much as the top two Democratic candidates combined. Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris raised around $18 million and $12 million respectively.
