Delta Air Lines is now saying hundreds of thousands of customers may have had their names, credit card numbers and addresses exposed in a cyberattack last year.

Delta and Sears were affected by the hack, which involved a chat-services provider both companies use. That service revealed Wednesday the breach was from Sept. 26 to Oct. 12.

Sears estimates the breach affected fewer than 100,000 of its customers.

Both businesses are setting up websites or hotlines for concerned customers.

Correction: In a previous version of this video, we mistakenly said "Aug. 12" instead of "Oct. 12."
