After 24 years out of the console industry, Atari might be getting back in the game.
The company, known for developing classic games like "Asteroids," Crystal Castles" and "Space Invaders," recently teased a new website and video for Ataribox.
At first, some people weren't sure what Ataribox was.
But then the game company confirmed to VentureBeat it was, in fact, working on a new game console.
Atari's CEO said Ataribox will be based on PC technology and more details regarding the design will be revealed at a later date.
It's going up against some steep competition: Microsoft recently unveiled its new Xbox One X console during E3 2017.
Atari's new console signals a revival for the company. Back in 2013, Atari filed for bankruptcy, but bounced back around 2015 by re-releasing its game catalog and developing new mobile games.
