The U.N. Security Council is set to vote on new sanctions for North Korea after the country test-fired a missile it claims can strike the whole U.S. mainland.

Multiple outlets got hold of a draft of the proposed sanctions — if passed, they'll hit North Korea's economy pretty hard.

The proposal would limit crude oil imports to 4 million barrels per year. Refined oil product imports would be capped at 500,000 barrels a year.

The sanctions draft also reportedly includes a ban on exports of food products, machinery, electrical equipment, earth and stones, wood, and vessels from the Hermit Kingdom.

In September, the Security Council voted to impose fresh sanctions on North Korea after it conducted its sixth nuclear test.

The newest proposed sanctions would also ban North Koreans from working abroad and toughen rules on shipping.
