This Guatemalan Designer Makes Inclusivity Part Of Fashion

This Guatemalan designer is making fashion more inclusive. 

Isabella Springmuhl has Down syndrome and designs clothes for people with disabilities. 

"The problem is kids with Down syndrome can't find clothes because we have different measurements and different characteristics," Springmuhl said.

The 19-year-old says she was rejected from fashion programs at two universities because of her disability.

But she didn't give up on her dream. 

Her mother helped her enroll in a sewing academy, where she started designing clothes for life-size dolls. 

Now, she's designing her own collections for people using traditional Guatemalan textiles.

And she made history as the first designer with Down syndrome to be part of London Fashion Week.
