A market research group predicts China will be the world's No. 1 tourist destination by the year 2030, taking the top spot from France.
And most of those tourists will reportedly come from other Asian countries, according to research firm Euromonitor.
That's because the economy is growing in other parts of Asia, leaving residents with more disposable income. The visa process for Asian travelers within the region has also been simplified.
Euromonitor's report also said Egypt, which experienced a decline in tourism due to safety concerns, has seen an uptick in visitors in recent years.
