According to KHOU, that construction worker was not hurt and is now doing fine. All the construction workers at the apartment building and the 200 firefighters called to the scene have been accounted for.
The fire broke out around 12:30 in the afternoon Tuesday. Witnesses say the construction worker seen in the video had tried putting out the blaze with a fire extinguisher but it spread too fast.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, though KPRC offers some insight as to why it spread so fast. Because the building was still under construction, fire suppression systems weren't yet in place.
While no one was hurt in the fire, several cars and gravestones at a nearby historic cemetery were damaged.
