Some major donors are reportedly calling for the Humane Society of the United States to cut ties with its president and CEO after allegations of sexual misconduct surfaced.
The Washington Post reports some donors said they'd stop donating unless Wayne Pacelle is fired.
On Monday, The Post reported an internal Humane Society investigation found several complaints against Pacelle.
The investigation also reportedly found that the nonprofit agency had paid undisclosed settlements to two employees who said they were fired after complaining about Pacelle's alleged behavior. Pacelle denied the allegations.
The donors also are reportedly not happy the organization left Pacelle in charge while the investigation was being conducted.
As of Thursday, the Humane Society still had not released a statement on what the investigation found.
