Authorities say they've taken two suspects into custody and are now looking for a third in connection with the Philadelphia high school shooting Friday.
"The 17-year-old was arrested at his home in south Philadelphia shortly after the shooting, and Anderson, they were able to find him by looking at surveillance video from the gym." (Via CNN)
CNN reports the second suspect, a 16-year-old student, reportedly turned himself in. Police believe the third suspect is also a student.
Authorities say the shooting took place inside the Delaware Valley Charter High School gym at about 3:30 p.m. and appears to have been accidental. (Via WPVI)
Two students were wounded in the incident and taken to the hospital. One of them has been released, but the other was still in the hospital Saturday morning, although he is expected to fully recover. (Via WTXF)
POLICE COMMISSIONER: "We're fortunate that there's no loss of life, but that doesn't make it any less serious. I mean, kids with guns in school, anybody with guns in school is just a bad combination. It should not happen, absolutely should not happen." (Via KYW-TV)
As of Saturday morning, Philadelphia police said they hadn't recovered the gun used in Friday's shooting.
