According to Police, Dudek was managing accounts for the bioscience department of Mercy Hospital and made sure it was supplied with adequate skin grafts. (Via KYW-TV)
According to authorities, Dudek had an open purchase order, meaning he could order the grafts whenever he wanted.
"Records show when hospital officials conducted an audit of their financed, they realized the numbers didn't add up and skin grafts were missing... Surveillance cameras caught Dudek taking skin grafts from the hospital and placing them in his car." (Via WCAU)
Dudek earned commission from the sales, and that's what police say could be his motive. Authorities are not yet sure what he with those grafts, but WCAU talked to Dudek's attorney who said.
"To take this into the criminal arena against a man who has been nothing but hard-working and law-abiding his entire life is a bit draconian, in my view."
Dudek was arrested Tuesday but was released after posting 10 percent of his $10,000 bail.
