This little 6-year-old is devastated.
But these tears aren't from something typical that would upset a child. It wasn't a broken toy; it wasn't that all the cake was eaten. It was:
"I don't wanna cheer for a different team," she cries.
Her favorite Toronto Blue Jays player, Brett Lawrie, was traded out for Oakland A's player Josh Donaldson. And she's not too happy about that.
"I want to cheer for Brett Lawrie. ... And I'm positive they won't trade back someday. That guy's going to be too good," she continues to cry.
Bleacher Report says many Blue Jays fans agreed the trade was a good thing, but the 6-year-old we saw obviously doesn't agree.
Although it seems Lawrie's loyalty is all but gone for the Jays, too. He told MLB the Oakland A's are "a team that likes to win, and I haven't really been on that side of the coin."
Ouch. Doesn't sound like he shares the same reaction as our 6-year-old friend.
