Police in Northern Virginia said a man shot three of his co-workers at a United Rentals location Wednesday morning, killing two. The suspect reportedly shot himself after a police pursuit later in the morning.

Manassas Police said 37-year-old Marvin Grant of Charlotte, North Carolina, opened fire following a dispute with co-workers around 7 a.m. Two victims were reportedly shot in the garage area, while a third was shot when coming out of an office.

Two of the victims who were killed were identified as Richard Lamont, 48, and Christopher Serrano, 33. The third shooting victim is in stable condition at a local hospital.

Grant fled the scene after the shooting, initiating a statewide manhunt. Detectives tracked his cell phone to Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Virginia State Police were notified around 8:20 a.m. to be on the lookout for Grant in Rockingham County. A trooper spotted his vehicle on Interstate 81 southbound near the 235-mile marker in Augusta County.

Grant's vehicle pulled into a rest area at the 232-mile marker, where troopers attempted a traffic stop. Law enforcement said he exited his vehicle, then got back into it and continued driving southbound on Interstate 81 before pulling over on the side of the highway.

Troopers said Grant again got out of his vehicle, but this time he had a firearm pointed at his head. Virginia State Police's tactical team and a negotiator were brought to the scene, but it ended with Grant shooting himself.

He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Virginia State Police said there was no use of force by troopers during the incident.
