Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has dropped out of the race for the GOP presidential nomination.

Bush was seen as a front-runner at the beginning of the election season and, along with his super PACs, raised more money than any other Republican candidate. But as the field expanded, his reputation as the establishment candidate became Bush's albatross.

According to Real Clear Politics, his polling average was less than 6 percent.
