Apple is buying Texture — a Netflix-like subscription service for magazines.
The company announced the acquisition in a statement Monday but didn't note how much it'll cost.
Texture's CEO said in a statement that the team and its owners were happy with the development and that they "could not imagine a better home or future for the service."
Texture users pay a monthly fee for access to hundreds of magazines. Apple described it as the "leading multi-title subscription service."
The acquisition comes months after Apple bought music app Shazam for $400 million.
