It's another announcement of an announcement — this time from Donald Trump.
"I'm going to have a big deal going on at Trump Tower on June 16, and I'll be giving a decision as to what I'm going to be doing," Trump told Fox News.
That, of course, has a familiar ring to it. Trump flirted with White House runs in each of the four previous elections. (Video via NBC / "The Celebrity Apprentice")
In 2012, he ultimately passed on running — he said because "Business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector."
It appears he's ready now. Trump has given just about every sign he plans to run, short of actually announcing.
Back in March, he formed an exploratory committee.
And he's hired staffers in key primary states.
Plus, he's going around saying things like: "I am really inclined. I want to do it so badly."
While Trump might have the name recognition many other GOP contenders lack, his likability is another issue.
Of the 2016 hopefuls, Trump had the lowest net favorability among voters, according to a Washington Post/ABC poll released this week.
