If there’s one thing that can terrify us humans, it’s scary things coming out of the sky...like this horrifying cloud creeping along the skyline - what is that thing???
Take this tornado near Fort Lupton, Colorado. It was one of three tornadoes that popped up in the Denver Metro area July 28.
We kind of want to scream at the person recording to get the heck inside!
And with powerful weather there’s oftentimes something shocking about the sky. Oh yeah, we mean Mother Nature’s rough brother, lightning.
This little lightning show was put on in Alberta, Canada July 24. The man who recorded the video, and also probably should have gotten inside like Mr. Let’s-Record-A-Tornado Man, did mention one interesting thing in the video:
“It’s weird there’s just no thunder. It’s not even delayed, there’s just no thunder. It’s just lightning.”
But lightning isn’t the only thing in the sky.
Like straight out of an apocalyptic movie ... there are also FIREBALLS.
Didja see that? This happened in Raleigh, North Carolina July 19. No word on if any aliens accompanied the meteor.
And after all this scary weather, we should probably end on something, well, FREAKIN’ ADORABLE. Yes, an itsie, bitsie, teeny weeny, black, not-polka dotted ... KITTEN!
This cute little kitten somehow survived Typhoon Matmo in Taiwan and was found and rescued on the street. He looks rough here, but after a little pampering, he looks good as new! He is affectionately called “Matty,” and apparently loves to be scratched behind the ears.
