Toyota President Says Exec Didn't Mean To Break Drug Law

A top Toyota executive was arrested in Japan for allegedly importing prescription painkillers, which is illegal under Japanese anti-narcotics law.

She is accused of mailing herself oxycodone from the U.S., which is legal in the states. Japanese customs officials reportedly found 57 pills in a package, according to Japanese media reports. (Video via Japan News Network)

Toyota's president said during a press conference he is sure after the investigation, it will be clear that Hamp had no intention to violate any law. Hamp has denied the allegations.
