Police responded to several hotels in New Jersey Friday morning after they received envelopes containing a suspicious white powder.

The envelopes were delivered to at least three hotels, and authorities intercepted similar packages before they reached two more. Officials told CNN at least six letters were discovered in New Jersey.

Those hotels are all near MetLife Stadium, the site of Sunday's Super Bowl, but did not include the Broncos or Seahawks team hotels.

Haz-Mat teams tested the powder and, according to ABC, it turned out to be corn starch. None of the envelopes are believed to be dangerous.

According to New York Daily News, another package sent to the Manhattan law offices of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani contained a similar powder.

The 48th floor of that building was evacuated as a precaution. Stay with Newsy for more on this developing story.
