Bill Cosby is speaking out for the first time since he was sentenced to prison for sexual assault.

Cosby gave an exclusive phone interview to Stacy Brown, a correspondent for National Newspaper Publishers Association's BlackPressUSA.com.

Among other topics, Brown said Cosby talked about educating his fellow inmates, the infamous "pound cake" speech he gave back in 2004 and how he feels about the conviction that put him behind bars.

"Bill Cosby has emphatically stated, he said it in the interview, he said it previous to that, that he's prepared to do the full ten years because he refuses to admit to something he says he didn't do," Brown said.

In April 2018, Cosby was convicted of three counts of sexual assault against Andrea Constand. He was found guilty of drugging and assaulting Constand in his home in 2004. A few months later, Cosby was sentenced to 3 to ten years in prison. He is currently serving that sentence in a state prison in Pennsylvania.
