Want to lose weight? Move to an old house.

People living in older neighborhoods are less likely to be overweight than new-home dwellers, according to a study to be published in the September issue of the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.

KITCHENER, Ontario -- When someone suggested to Deborah Maguire that she call a pet detective to help search for her missing Chihuahua, she thought they were joking.

"I thought, 'Oh, my God, that's a movie -- that's ridiculous,' " Maguire recalls.

After reading through 7,000 pages detailing the sexual frustrations and joys of those answering an anonymous survey, Joan Sauers has a message for her gender: Men aren't psychic.

"How are they going to know that we're not getting off if we don't tell them?" asks the author of "Sex Lives of Australian Women," published this month.
