Kristin Volk

A graduate of Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism, Kristin Volk
started her career at WTVG, the local ABC station in her hometown of
Toledo, Ohio. She was hired as an assignment editor and later as an
investigative producer and reporter. In 2005, Kristin moved to
Washington to work as a field producer and reporter for Potomac
Television. It was her responsibility to provide localized-Washington
coverage to a variety of TV stations around the country.

Prior to joining Scripps, Kristin built and managed the online video news
department for United Press International as well as its affiliate media
companies. Kristin lives in Alexandria, Va. with her husband Ben. She's
an avid slalom skier and enjoys visiting family on Devils Lake in
Southeast Michigan each summer.
