Saving Babies: Exposing Sudden Infant Death in America

U.S. Infant Mortality Database (2000 - 2004)

ScrippsNews has collected data from the Center for Disease Control's Multiple Cause of Death Index, which details the death of every American citizen annually, and created a database of all reported infant deaths from 2000 to 2004. The database contains more than 20,000 relevant records of children who died suddenly. The database is provided so viewers can see how cases of infant death are handled in their own states and communities as well as how they are reported to the federal government by local officials.
