Q. We want to eliminate paper waste. Can we send e-mail save-the-date cards?
A. Absolutely! Sending save-the-dates and info about your engagement party via e-mail makes total sense.
Another great idea -- put all the details up on your wedding Web site. Everyone will have access to it, and you can easily send the link to family and friends.
Just remember to think about your older guests, who might not be as computer-savvy. Print hard copies for grandparents and great-aunts and -uncles and send them "snail mail."
When it comes to your actual wedding invitations, however, e-mail is much too casual, so stick to print.
