A. Whether or not you have a receiving line is totally up to you. If you're not planning to walk around and speak with guests individually during the reception, then a receiving line is great way to greet everyone -- especially for a large wedding.
Not into the receiving line? During dinner, go table to table and say hello. As long as you reach everyone to thank guests for coming to your wedding, it doesn't matter how it happens.
