If you go ...

Access to the Anan Wildlife Observatory is controlled through daily passes issued by the Forest Service from July 5 through Aug. 25. Passes are $10 each.
There are 64 passes available for each day. However, four of those are reserved for folks using the Anan Bay Cabin for each night of their reservation. Of the remaining 60, 30 are made available to guides and jet-boat tour owners before passes go on sale to the general public. That's so the guides can book reservations and know that they can get their folks onto the viewing platform.
Some passes go on sale to the general public each March 1.
