Doesn't want strippers at her bachelorette party

Q: I've tried to tell my bridesmaids that I don't want strippers at my bachelorette party, but they're insisting. Do I grin and bear it, or put my foot down?
A. It doesn't matter what your friends want; it matters what you want. It's nice that they're planning a party for you, but you should be comfortable.
Not all bachelorette parties involve a night of debauchery. Many brides today opt to have a different kind of celebration. Why not head out for a girls' spa day, a fancy dinner or a night dancing at a fun local club? Either way, you'll have a blast.
