Once again Donruss has produced promotional packs that were handed out to fans attending Thanksgiving Day games in Dallas and Philadelphia.
The Dallas packs include a special card promoting the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle fundraiser, which kicked off during halftime of the Cowboys-Seahawks game. The card pictures Dallas running back Marion Barber sporting a red Salvation Army apron while serving food. Others in the set include Tony Romo, Terrell Owens, rookie Felix Jones and Hall of Famed defensive end Randy White.
The Eagles set includes Donovan McNabb, Brian Westbrook, Brian Dawkins and former Eagles signal caller Randal Cunningham. The pack also has an Eagles Kids Club card featuring mascot SWOOP. The Dawkins card also highlights the team’s charitable entity, the Youth Partnership.
The Philadelphia pack will also include an information card on Pop Warner. Donruss is the “Exclusive Trading Card Company” of Pop Warner and the Eagles were named “Pop Warner NFL Team of the Year” in 2008 for their continued support of local Pop Warner organizations.
Both the Cowboys and Eagles packs will also contain a card featuring NFL Network host Rich Eisen and former NFL players turned broadcasters Deion Sanders, Warren Sapp, Rod Woodson, Terrell Davis, Marshall Faulk and former NFL coach Steve Mariucci.
