Carlos Mencia isn't sure his Comedy Central series, "Mind of Mencia," will return for a fifth season.When asked if he'll do another season, Mencia said recently, "I don't know. We'll see."My standard for doing another year is really high. I need to make sure if I do another season it's something that A) I am proud of and B) I am unbelievably happy with and C) I can do something artistically different.""Mencia" recently ended its fourth season and has consistently been one of the channel's highest-rated programs. The series helped launch Mencia's profile.The series is also noted for being one of the few English-language weekly programs on cable and network to have a Latino lead.Currently he is on an 80-city tour.Mencia says he won't deal with the issues of another season until his tour breaks later this fall. A meeting with Comedy Central executives is set in the next few weeks to discuss the show's future, he says.After four seasons, Mencia says it's harder to come up with material that surprises the audience. He says he'd rather go out on top rather than give viewers sketches or topics they've seen before.Should he decide not to do another season, Mencia says he won't sit on the sidelines. "I have a lot of offers," he says.Mencia, whose comedy is rooted in political and racial topics, says he would like to do a talk show."When I look back, I want to say I did everything.
