Green building products do work. In the past, products like low-flow showerheads and toilets weren't optimal, which caused a lingering bad reputation. These days, most new green products work as well if not better than traditional products.

Green materials are not hard to find. The number of green products that are available has grown exponentially over the past few years. Shoppers also can find and order those hard-to-locate items online.

A green home doesn't equal unattractive. No need to incorporate rows of huge solar panels to your home's roof in order to be eco-friendly. There are many ways to integrate panels that are both attractive and effective. The result is great energy efficiency disguised as a regular house.
