Paying taxes unites us. It also divides us. People can pay five and even six times more in state and local taxes than other folks in similar circumstances making similar incomes.

I have never seen UFOs, but
I have never seen UFOs, but my father and other members of my family believe they had seen one on different ocassions.
As my father was driving to visit me in 1993 at the college I was attending in the southern part of Illinois, he believes a spherical shaped vessel was following him as he drove. No other vehicles were present at the time, since it was about 5 am (I am not sure on which day he visited me). He was afraid and soon pulled into a gas station to see if he would be left alone. The vessel was gone. My step-mother was present in the vehicle and first noticed it following. My father had a glass rooftop on his Ford Explorer.
In 2007, my sister was driving home in the state of Wisconsin and noticed a strange light over her vehicle that followed her home. It vanished right before she arrived.
I really do not know what to make of it. I never told anyone because I thought they were just seeing things, but I suppose anything is possible. My father is certain of what he saw, but could not determine if it was from terrestrial or not. However, he had seen anything like it in his entire life.
